The Official Home of the D.C. Metropolitan Area Oracle Applications Users Group

It is our goal to provide the Oracle users of the metropolitan Washington area with information and sharing related to Oracle products. In conjunction with the OAUG, we can help steer and be aware of the direction that Oracle carries its product lines.

Please feel free to explore our site, and sign up as a member (no membership fees) to be invited to our periodic conferences and also receive benefits from the user community network.

"The Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG) is a global association that provides Oracle users the opportunity to enhance their productivity, maximize their investment and influence the quality, usability and support of Oracle Applications.  Formed in 1990, the OAUG is one of the software industry's most successful user groups, and speaks with one voice for Oracle Applications customers. The Oracle Applications Users Group was formed in the San Francisco Bay Area in May 1990. During that meeting, members agreed on the scope and purpose of the users group and began a dialogue with Oracle representatives about product development, quality and support. Today, the OAUG serves as an advocate to Oracle Corporation on behalf of all Oracle Applications users. The District of Columbia OAUG (DCOAUG) represents Oracle applications users from the Washington Metropolitan area.  Members are from both the private and public sectors and have backgrounds in finance, accounting, human resources, payroll, consulting, and applications development.  The group is dedicated to increasing knowledge and understanding of Oracle Applications through the exploration of relevant topics and the sharing of collective experience.DCOAUG, which is independent of Oracle Corporation, is an affiliated geographical special interest group (GEOSIG) of the Oracle Applications User Group (OAUG).  Like OAUG, we provide a forum for sharing information and experience on the selection, implementation, and effective use of the Oracle Application products. We hold periodic meetings and conferences for our membership. These are an excellent opportunity to network with other Oracle users and to hear about the experiences of other Oracle applications practitioners.
